What is a CMS?

A Content Management System (CMS) is an application used to create, edit and manage content, whether it is text, imagery, navigation or pages. Used predominantly for websites, it enables the client to be able to manage updates or expand their website without having to go back to a web developer. It's therefore cost effective and fast which means you can update your site as often as you need to, from where ever you need to.
